As resolved by the Presidency of the National Council for Sustainable Development at its meeting on 17 March 2017, NCSD’s next meeting was convened for 10 a.m. 25 May 2017, Thursday to the Parliament’s Gobelin Room.

Based on the agenda, the meeting discussed:

1. Progress made in the implementation of the National Strategy for the Conservation of Biodiversity, report on current legislation tasks supporting the implementation of the strategy. The topic was presented by dr. András Rácz, deputy minister of state for environmental affairs.
2. Sustainability challenges in the European Union common agricultural policy – debate and recommendations. The topic was presented by dr. Zsolt Feldman, deputy minister of state for agricultural economy.
