Do you want to know more about the circular economy?
The circular Economy Platform webinar series organised by the BCSDH will give access to a wide variety of information about this topic.

Participants will be introduced to the theoretical and practical foundations of the circular economy and its legal framework by recognised professionals.
Furthermore, they can learn about the latest circular business models and product design processes through innovative international and domestic corporate examples.

The NFFT launches a new video series called Table Reserved/Sustained.
The videos are planned to include a series of informal conservations between the NFFT’s secretary, dr. Gábor Bartus, environmental economist and a guest on the various aspects of sustainability.
His first guest is dr. Márton Medgyesi economist, sociologist, researcher, external lecturer at the Corvinus University.

Since 2015, the European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW) has been organised between May 30th and June 5th every year. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ESDN has decided to postpone the European Sustainable Development Week in 2020.
This year, the events of the ESDW will take place over a longer period of time, from September 18th to October 8th.
The application process remains the same and the events in Hungary will continue to be coordinated by the NFFT.

The EEAC Network (The European Environment and Sustainable Development Advisory Councils)
organises a one-day working session in Brussels on Thursday February 13 2020 on the European
Green Deal, which was presented last December. Gábor Bartus, the NFFT’s secretary and co-chair of the EEAC’s working group will attend the session.

The Global Forum for National SDG Advisory Bodies will hold its inaugural meeting in Bogota between February 17 and 20 2020. The NFFT is also part of the forum that includes over 60 countries worldwide.

The initiative was launched by the German and the Finnish governments at the UN summit on sustainable development in New York in September 2019.

The NFFT is represented by its secretary, Gábor Bartus.
